This policy explains how PathLogic Automation (“we”, “us”) handles information on pathlogicautomation.com and in the My FANUC Tool desktop app.

1) Who we are

PathLogic Automation operates pathlogicautomation.com and develops the My FANUC Tool desktop application (“App”). Contact: admin@pathlogicautomation.com.

2) What we collect

  • Website forms (e.g., Download / Support): name, email, company (optional), and any message you include.
  • Billing: purchase metadata (plan, price, currency, status) via our payment processor Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
  • Licensing & activation (App): minimal device/license identifiers (e.g., hashed machine ID, license key, activation status, timestamps) used to activate and prevent fraud.
  • Diagnostics (optional): if you choose to send logs, we receive crash/error reports. This is off by default.
  • Technical data: basic IP address and HTTP headers on our site for security and reliability; essential cookies to keep the site working.

We do not collect your project files, robot programs, or backups. The App processes them locally on your device.

3) Why we use it (purposes & legal bases)

  • Provide the service (downloads, licensing, updates, support) — contract necessity.
  • Fraud prevention & security (license validation, abuse prevention) — legitimate interests.
  • Communications (operational emails, billing notifications) — contract necessity; marketing only with consent.
  • Compliance (tax, accounting) — legal obligations.
  • Improve the product (optional diagnostics) — consent.

4) Cookies

We use essential cookies required for basic site functionality. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics, we’ll update this page and provide controls.

5) Sharing & processors

  • Stripe — processes payments and subscription management.
  • Hosting & email — cloud infrastructure and email service used to deliver our site and support.
  • Diagnostics (optional) — if enabled, logs may be stored with a secure log processor.

We do not sell personal data.

6) Retention

  • License & billing records: kept as long as your license/subscription is active and as required for tax/accounting, then archived or deleted.
  • Support emails: typically 24 months after last interaction.
  • Diagnostics (if sent): typically 90 days unless needed to investigate an issue.

7) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8) Your rights

Depending on your location (e.g., EU/EEA, UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object or restrict certain processing. To exercise rights, contact admin@pathlogicautomation.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
